NETWORKED: Dialogue & Exchange in the Global Art Ecology

In November 2011 Triangle Network hosted an international conference bringing together the latest research and debate on the role of cultural networks in the global art ecology and inviting 262 artists, art managers, curators, policy makers, funders, researchers and writers from over 40 countries.

Over two stimulating days, leading art professionals debated the role of networks in supporting artists' development, facilitating the global dissemination of contemporary art practices and advocating efficient ways of funding art projects and grass-roots organisations.

The conference additionally provided a unique opportunity to take stock of 30 years of Triangle Network's achievements, renewing our enthusiasm for the future through new connections and ideas.
