The Second Western Australian International Artists' Workshop was held at Dingo Flat farm, Tingledale, Walpole. 25 artists from different parts of Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Caribbean participated. It was organised by a Working Group of Australian artists and professionals in the arts including Kevin Draper, David Jones, Jenny Wright, Thelma Jones and the co-ordinator Michael O’Ferrall who also co-ordinated the first workshop.

During the workshop artists worked directly with the environment by using available raw materials at the farm.

Meeting with the local artists was organised in Albany and on the last day of the workshop an Open Day was held at the farm. After the workshop an exhibition of documentation and of work was held at the John Curtin Gallery, Curtin University in Perth from 16th February to 25th March 2001. A forum took place at the University on the opening the exhibition where interested members of public and the art community in Perth came to illustrated talks by the artists.

The workshop was supported by Arts WA, Western Australia Lotteries, Country Arts WA, Australian Council for the Arts, Health Way, Smokefree WA, Curtin University of Technology, Perth International Arts Festival and City of Albany A+.
