Danilo Correale was invited to take part in Helena Producciones’s 8th Festival de Perfomance, in Cali. Correale uses archival and research material to critique the establishment which appears to rule over society; starting with cultural institutions. His work tries to probe beyond the institutional façade in order to uncover the human beings within it.

During his residency at Helena Producciones, Correale carried out research on music and dance. Correale created a video project from interviews with several local academics on the subject of music and dance of Salsa.

Helena Producciones, a non-profit, interdisciplinary collective based in Colombia.
