Seila Fernández Arconada is a transdisciplinary artist-researcher based in Bristol (UK). Whilst in residency at pARTage, Mauritius Seila will participate in the pARTage International Artists Workshop 2017 "Migration, Identity and Belonging". The workshop will reflect on the global phenomenon of displacement and the concept of belonging, questioning both the individual and collective identity, Where do we belong? What identity/ies do each of us possess?
pARTage is a registered, non-profit artists` led organisation based in Mauritius, who aim to promote art in the country as well as in the regions (Comoros, Madagascar, Reunion and Seychelles). They do this through numerous local and international exhibitions, conferences, workshops and residencies.
