Between October and November 2019 UK-based artist Stuart Middleton will travel to URRA’s Art Residency in Buenos Aires, as part of the Triangle Fellowship Programme. 

Stuart Middleton (b. 1987, Crewe, UK) lives and works in Glasgow. Solo and group exhibitions include Cole, Camden Arts Centre, Carlos/Ishikawa, The Sunday Painter, London; Tramway, Glasgow; HBK Städelschule, Frankfurt am Main, Germany; Mostyn Art Gallery, Llandudno, UK; Greene Naftali, New York and Johan Berregren, Malmø, Sweden, among others. Middleton participated in the 2014 Hamburg Short Film Festival, Hamburg, Germany and the 2015 Material art fair in Mexico City, Mexico. He is a Mostyn Open 18 Prize Winner and was a recipient of the Städelschule Portikus e.V Prize in 2016.


Established in 2010, URRA is an arts organisations developing artists residencies and other projects focusing on cultural exchanges for Argentine and international artists. URRA’s programmes encourage dialogue amongst visual art professionals from around the world, and encourage the production of new work and research.
